3. Core Features
- Multiple conversion modes: Support single page, custom page range and full document conversion to meet diverse needs.
- High-definition output: Rendered at double resolution by default, delivering clear and sharp PNG pictures for viewing and printing.
- One-click ZIP download: No need to save images one by one; batch download all files in a compressed package effortlessly.
- Real-time thumbnail preview: Check images instantly after conversion without extra software.
- Local browser processing: All rendering runs locally, no files uploaded to servers, fully protecting user privacy.
- Encrypted file detection: Automatically identify locked PDFs and give reminders to avoid invalid operations.
4. Notes
- Encrypted PDFs with opening passwords cannot be converted directly, please unlock the password first.
- Large PDFs over 100MB or with more than 200 pages will take up higher memory and CPU resources, resulting in slower conversion. It is recommended to split and process in batches.
- Only PNG output is supported currently, lossless with transparent background retained. Use an image format converter if you need smaller JPG files.
- The default double-width output is enough for daily preview and printing. Do not set the rendering ratio too high arbitrarily, otherwise it may cause browser memory overflow and lag.
5. FAQ
Q1: Why does the converted image look less clear than the original PDF?A: The default double scaling already exceeds normal display standards. Vector text will turn into bitmap images and get slightly blurry when overly zoomed, while still keeping good clarity for regular use. You can raise the rendering ratio for higher precision if needed.
Q2: Can I export directly to JPG format?A: Only PNG is supported for now. You can convert the generated PNG files to smaller JPG with an image format tool later.
Q3: Will the image order be inconsistent with the original PDF?A: The sequence stays exactly the same as the original page numbers. Single page, page range and full document conversion all follow the original order without confusion.
Q4: Why do certain pages fail to convert?A: Some PDFs contain damaged pages, special fonts or complex transparent layers that cause rendering errors. Try repairing the PDF with professional software before conversion.
Q5: Will my uploaded PDF be sent to third-party servers?A: Never. All processing relies on local browser kernels. Your files stay on your own device all the time with zero privacy leakage risks.
